Become the 6th Baron and Baroness of Ashfield

1st Baron – Sir Robert Blund (or Le Blount) is granted Ashfield by William the Conqueror for his role as Admiral.  He is also appointed High Sheriff of Norfolk and made Lord of Orford Castle.

3rd Baron – William Blund dies aged 73 but leaves an heir Hubert who is still a minor.

5th Baron – William Blund serves as standard bearer to the barons army led by Simon de Montford, Earl of Leicester.  He is slain at the Battle of Lewes.
