5th Lord – Sir John de Bishopsdon obtains a grant of free warren (right to hunt royal game in the manor) for Bushwood.

10th Lord – Sir William Catesby is one of King Richard’s closest advisors.  He serves as Chancellors of the Exchequer and Speaker of the House of Commons.  He is one of the richest knights in England.  Sir William is one of the advisors who tells King Richard not to marry Elizabeth of York.  He fights alongside King Richard at the Battle of Bosworth Field.  Three days after the battle he is executed with other key figures.

He is eventually successful.  He is later appointed to a committee for the reform of the bankruptcy law.

18th Lord – Sir Charles Catesby is elected a Knight of the Shire and Member of Parliament for Warwickshire.  Sir Charles clears the family debts and turns his attention to medical studies and supplying the poor with medicine.

20th Lord – Sir Lister Catesby is elected a Member of Parliament for Lichfield, then a Knight of the Shire and Member of Parliament for Warwickshire.
