1st Lord – Richard de Montfitchet, a surety of Magna Carta dies leaving a third of East and West Ham to Sir Richard de Plaiz.

3rd Lord – Sir Giles de Plaiz was summoned to an assembly of peers and magnates at Salisbury, thus making him Baron Plaiz.  Later Sir Giles was summoned for military service against the Scots.

4th Lord – Richard de Plaiz is summoned to serve in Parliament and is knighted.  In 1324 Sir Richard is summoned to a Great Council at Westminster.
