Previous Lords:
In 1410 Joan, formerly the wife of Richard Boltere, conveyed the manor to Thomas Martin and Thomas Englysshe, whose daughter Margaret brought it in marriage to John Radewell. She died in 1444, and the manor passed to her son Thomas Radewell, who died the same year as his mother, when Henry Englysshe, his kinsman, inherited Colesden. In 1472 the manor was granted by John Dundin to John Fitz Jeffrey, who died seised of it in 1480, and upon its sale by Francis Fitz Jeffrey, in 1546, to Lord Mordaunt it became joined to and followed the same descent as Roxton Manor (q.v.).
