A family of Stocton held land in Staughton from about 1240 to about 1346. Their property was held as one thirty-fourth part of a knight's fee of the honour of Betun until the beginning of the 14th century. By 1346 it had become parcel of the honour of Huntingdon. No further mention of it has been found.
