1st Lord – Roger de la Hyde is commissioned to recruit his family and friends into the service of William Marshall, 1st earl of Pembroke, Regent for King Henry III.

6th Lord – Sir Bartholomew Rede, a goldsmith and Lord Mayor of London.  He is appointed Master of the Mint and is responsible for minting the first gold sovereigns.  Sir Bartholomew is appointed co-High Sheriff of London.  He was famous for throwing extravagant feasts.
