1st Lord – Roger de Morteyn, who gives Bloxwich to John (son of Nicholas Wodeman de Bloxwich).

4th Lord – Sir Roger Hillary is made a Judge of then English Court of the Common Pleas, then Chief Justice of the same court.  Sir Roger is tasked with enforcing the Statute of Labourers in Worcestershire.

7th Lord – Robert Roos is appointed High Sheriff of Staffordshire.

8th Lord – Thomas Pinchbeck by the right of his wife Margaret is appointed High Sheriff of Staffordshire.

11th Lord – Edmund Dudley, King Henry VII’s most hated tax collector and former Speaker of the House of Commons.  upon King Henry’s death King Henry VIII has Edmund imprisoned and charged with constructive treason.  Edmund plans his escape from the Tower of London but does not follow through as Parliament does not confirm the attainder.  Edmund is then beheaded and his estates forfeit to the crown.

14th Lord – Sir William Skiffington is appointed High Sheriff of Staffordshire.  He is created a baronet but does not pay the Exchequer (baronets at the time were purchased).

15th Lord – Sir John Skiffington, a wool merchant, serves as a Justice of the Peace and is an Alderman of London.  He is appointed High Sheriff of Staffordshire and is made a Gentleman of the Privy Chamber.  Sir John supports the King in the Civil War and has hiss estates sequestered (confiscated by Parliament).  He pays a fine and has them returned.
