1st Lord – Robert Fitz Neel

6th Lord – John, Duke of Bedford who was appointed Regent of England and focuses on the war with France.  John was appointed Governor of Normandy.  John won a victory at the Battle of Verneuil and captures Joan of Arc.  He handed her over to a ecclesiastical court, who convicted her, and she was burnt at the stake.  John organised the Coronation of Henry VI at Paris to become the French king.

7th Lord – John, Lord Wenlock fought with the Yorkists in the War of the Roses but changes sides for the Battle of Tewkesbury in which he commanded the middle for the Lancastrian line.  The Lancastrians suffer a crushing defeat and John was killed by his own commander for failing him.

8th Lord – Thomas Rotherham, Bishop of Rochester, who is subsequently created Bishop of Lincoln.  Thomas was appointed Lord Chancellor in 1475, then Archbishop of York.  After the death of King Edward V Thomas is imprisoned in the Tower of London for conspiring against King Richard III.  He is released and is appointed Lord Chancellor again, only to be dismissed again by King Henry VII.
