1st Lord – Robert de Bealknap, as guardian for John Stonor.

4th Lord – Thomas Stoner who is elected a Knight of the Shire and Member of Parliament for Oxfordshire aged just 21.  Thomas is appointed High Sheriff of Oxfordshire and Berkshire and a Justice of the Peace.

5th Lord – Thomas Stoner is appointed High Sheriff of Oxfordshire and Berkshire and a Justice of the Peace.

6th Lord – Sir William Stoner is appointed High Sheriff of Oxfordshire and Berkshire.  He fights at the Battle of Bosworth with Henry Tudor.  Sir William is appointed High Sheriff of Devonshire.  He is awarded the Knight of the Bath, a Knight of the Body and a Knight Banneret.

8th Lord – Adrian Fortescue is made a Knight of the Bath and fights against the French.  He is also made a Knight of the Order of St John.  Sir Adrian is arrested for his objections to King Henry VIII’s church policies.  He is convicted of treason and beheaded at the Tower of London.

9th Lord – Sir Thomas Wentworth, Baron Wentworth, by the right of his wife Margaret is appointed Lord Chamberlain.  When Sir Thomas dies his funeral is held at Westminster Abbey.
