Title Type:
Previous Lords:
Midway through the 13th century Thomas son of Jordan held land in Little Staughton, which he held as a tenth part of a knight's fee of the barony of Bedford. By 1284–6 this property, which amounted to half a hide of land, had passed to Walter de la Sale. No further mention occurs of it, but it is possible that this was the land, held of the barony of Bedford, that John de Hemingford and others granted to Bushmead Priory in 1387–8.
