Become the 11th Baron and Baroness of Odcombe

1st Baron – Ansgar de Brito is granted Odcombe by William the Conqueror after the Battle of Hastings.  Ansgar serves as chief butler to Robert, count de Mortain.

9th Baron – William Brewer is a faithful servant of Prince John and receives considerable wealth for his service.  He is appointed High Sheriff of Nottingham whilst King Richard was on Crusade.  he is appointed one of the Justiciars to administer England whilst King Richard is on Crusade.  He is also appointed High Sheriff of Hampshire.  In 1244 William retires from the world and lives as a Cistercian Monk in Dunkeswell abbey.

10th Baron – William Brewer (a former High Sheriff of Devon and Northumberland) serves as a Forest Judge.
