Become the 15th Baron and Baroness of Salwarpe
1st Baron – Urse d’Abitot, who owes service to Roger, Earl of Montgomery. Urse is also granted the hereditary offices of High Sheriff or Worcestershire and Constable of Worcester Castle.
2nd Baron – Roger d’Abitot orders a royal official killed, is exiled by King Henry and loses the barony.
3rd Baron – Walter de Beauchamp (Roger’s brother-in-law) is granted the barony and Roger’s hereditary offices. He is appointed Royal Forester for Worcestershire and becomes a royal butler.
6th Baron – Walter de Beauchamp with 19 knights desert to the rebel barons and loses the barony. He re-pledges to King John and has the barony returned. He acts as a witness to Magna Carta.

Thomas is appointed Earl Marshall of England and High Sheriff of Warwickshire and Leicestershire. Thomas is entrusted with the wardship of the Black Prince (heir to King Edward). Sir Thomas is made a Knight of the Garter. Sir Thomas is appointed Governor of England over King Richard. Sir Thomas is charged with high treason and sent to the Tower of London. He pleads guilty, the barony is forfeit to the Crown and he is imprisoned for life on the Isle of Man. When King Henry is crown Sir Thomas’ lands are returned.
12th Baron – Sir Thomas’ son Richard who is also Earl of Warwick and is knighted at the coronation of King Henry. Sir Richard fights at the Battle of Shrewsbury and is made a Knight of the Garter. Sir Richard is appointed a member of the Royal Council. Sir Richard serves as Lord High Steward at the coronation of King Henry V. Sir Richard acts as superintendent of the trial of Joan of Arc. Sir Richard is appointed Lieutenant of France and Normandy.
13th Baron – Henry de Beauchamp is a close friend of King Henry whilst growing up and King Henry makes him King of the Isle of Wight.
