1st Lord – William de Ludington.

7th Lord – Sir Edward Grey is created Viscount Lisle.

10th Lord – John Dudley is created a Vice Admiral, then elected a Knight of the shire and Member of Parliament for Staffordshire.  John is made a Knight of the Garter.  He is appointed Governor of Boulogne.  Sir John directs the English fleet in the Battle of the Solent, in which the Mary Rose is sunk.  He is created Earl of Warwick and joint Lord Protector of England.  Sir John is created Duke of Northumberland.  With the ascension of Queen Mary Sir John is attained (convicted of treason) for the way in which he had controlled the young King Edward.  He is executed in front of a 10,000 strong crowd.
